Thomas Robinson had a disappointing start to his NBA career throughout November and December, but things appear to be changing in a positive way for the hard-working forward out of Kansas.
Over the past five games against Cleveland, Miami, Dallas, Memphis and Brooklyn, the Kings' highly touted rookie has looked much more like the player many expected when he was selected No. 5 overall last June. He's averaging 8 points and 9 rebounds in 20.6 minutes during that span, and shooting much better (52.8 percent) than he has all season.
Keep an eye on Robinson in the weeks to come, because if he strings together a few more games like this it wouldn't be surprising if he overtakes Jason Thompson in the Kings' starting lineup in the near future.
