Replacing MKG

Considering how much time Michael Kidd-Gilchrist spent lying on the hardwood after his collision Saturday, it should come as no surprise that he will not play Monday night due to his concussion. In fact, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reported Monday afternoon that the rookie will miss Wednesday's game, as well.

The soonest we may see MKG back in action would be Friday, but he will have to pass his concussion tests before receiving medical clearance to ball.

Jeff Taylor should get the nod as the starting small forward in place of Kidd-Gilchrist, and Ben Gordon and Gerald Henderson should also get a bump in opportunities until the rookie returns.
