Brandon Roy remains sidelined indefinitely due to his knee troubles. In fact, his future is cloudy enough that he is loosely mulling over retiring from the game for good. Not surprisingly, that has left the Minnesota Timberwolves in a bit of a bind, so all options -- including trading his contract and buying him out -- are on the table. According to Darren Wolfson of 1500ESPN.com, Wolves president of basketball operations David Kahn has discussed buyout options with Roy's agent. However, Roy apparently is hedging at actually retiring, in part due to his last chance to get paid to play ball.
