Kentucky' Julius Randle and Arizona's Aaron Gordon were considered to be among the elite tier of NBA prospects when the college basketball season started, joining Duke's Jabari Parker, Kansas' Andrew Wiggins and Oklahoma State's Marcus Smart as players who could potentially help turn a franchise around.
