Good news for Cavs, Kyrie Irving

UPDATE: Kyrie Irving's MRI came back on Wednesday and only showed a left knee contusion, according to ESPN.com's Brian Windhorst. As a result, Irving is listed as day-to-day and he might play against Orlando on Thursday.

This news means the Cavs are still itching to make the playoffs and will probably work the phones all the way up to 5 pm on Jan. 7 to trade Andrew Bynum for a veteran who can help get them to the 2014 postseason.

Cleveland Cavaliers starting point guard Kyrie Irving suffered a right knee injury on Tuesday and Wednesday he is set for an MRI to determine the extent of the issue.
