D-League in Otto Porter's future?

The minutes aren't there yet for rookie lottery pick Otto Porter in Washington; not with highly-paid veterans Trevor Ariza and Martell Webster demanding a role in the rotation.

As much as some might be down on Porter, the rangy swingman has looked the part in the limited minutes he's received. No, the scoring hasn't been there. And yes, he has to add muscle and get stronger, but the first-year pro out of Georgetown passes the eye test -- at least to me.

Is the answer to getting him on the court, then, sending him to the D-League, where he can get the seasoning he needs to grow and improve?
