Having three highly regarded point guards on its roster (Goran Dragic, Eric Bledsoe, Tyler Ennis) didn't stop the Phoenix Suns from going out and pursuing Isaiah Thomas, who joins the Suns via sign-and-trade with Sacramento and now has a new four-year, $27 million deal.
"We think Isaiah was one of the most efficient scorers in the league last year," Suns General Manager Ryan McDonough told The Arizona Republic on Saturday. "We feel like the strength of our team is the backcourt. We feel like this move has made us even stronger in the backcourt."
But by adding Thomas to an already crowded backcourt, the Suns may have set themselves up for further moves in the not-too-distant future. Here's ESPN Insider Kevin Pelton with more on that.
