Clippers' injury roundup

The Los Angeles Clippers are expected to hit the court once again Friday without the services of Chris Paul, who continues to deal with his bruised right kneecap, according to Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times.

That would be the sixth straight game that CP3 would miss due to the injury, and it remains unclear when we will see him back in game action. The Clips are the only team scheduled to play seven games between Monday and the All-Star break. Considering that stressful schedule and the nature of his injury, it's fair to wonder if the team will simply shut him down until after the break.

Things are looking better for teammate Blake Griffin, though. He is dealing with a sore left ankle but is expected to play though the injury this evening against the Toronto Raptors.

Meanwhile, coach Vinny Del Negro said that Chauncey Billups is making progress in his recovery from tendinitis in his left foot but is not quite ready to play on Friday.
