The Portland Trail Blazers preseason roster has been thinned out with injuries to LaMarcus Aldridge (quad injury), C.J. McCollum (broke left foot), Mo Williams (sprained ankle), Dorell Wright (dislocated right middle finger) and Earl Watson (calf contusion). Unfortunately the bad luck continues as Nicolas Batum suffered a concussion Tuesday morning during practice, reports CSNNW.com.
Per league rules, Batum can not return until has passes tests mandated by the NBA. As a result he won't play against Phoenix on Wednesday.
McCollum is the only player who is out for an extended time and the preseason will allow others to step up in the preseason. Those who will get increased minutes are Thomas Robinson, Allen Crabbe, Will Barton and Joel Freeland.
