Bucks without John Henson

John Henson was not able to play against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday due to a sprained left ankle and it is bad enough to make him unavailable for at least Milwaukee's three-game road trip out West.

"It's a high ankle sprain, so I want to stay off of it as much as possible to help it heal," Henson told the Journal Sentinel. "I'll be doing treatment twice a day, working out and doing conditioning. Hopefully this week where I don't go with them will help me come back sooner than later."

Head coach Larry Drew returned Larry Sanders, just coming back from his thumb injury, to the starting center position and that is his spot moving forward. When Henson is ready to play again he will get minutes as the backup center and power forward behind Sanders and Ersan Ilyasova.

"Hopefully when I get back we can start playing together and everybody can see what that looks like," Henson said.
