Roy wants in one more time

Brandon Roy has not played since the start of the season and it was expected that his NBA career was done, but that apparently isn't the case, according to NBA scribe Ric Bucher.

Bucher writes: "Roy is travelling with the Timberwolves and while he doesn't expect to play Wednesday at the Clippers or Friday in Utah, he told me he's hoping to play at least one more time this season and he'd like it to be in one of the team's remaining home games, either April 13 vs. the Suns or April 15 vs. the Jazz."

Bucher also adds that Roy is hoping to be a free agent this summer. Roy is signed through next season, however his $5.32 million salary is reportedly not guaranteed. The Wolves have no use for Roy so at some point they are going to release him to increase their room under the salary cap.
