With so many national games scheduled for today's Martin Luther King holiday, the Bristol brain trust has wisely postponed the normal Monday bracket until tomorrow. This way we won't have obsolete seedings when a day game like Villanova-UConn concludes by late afternoon.
Instead, this special edition of Bracket Math takes you inside Monday's "might have been" bracket. Enjoy it for now, then check back Tuesday when we roll out the full weekly Bracketology package.
Solid Odds (In S-Curve Order)
Teams with Tourney Odds of 75 percent or better through games of Jan. 16. See tomorrow's Rundown for odds on all potential No. 1 seeds, as well as the teams perched on the bubble:

The First Four (S-Curve Order)
The four lowest-ranked automatic qualifiers on the S-Curve will play in the inaugural "First Four" round in Dayton, March 15-16. Currently this is how those four look:
66-McNeese State (Southland)
67-Texas Southern (SWAC)
68-Bethune Cookman (MEAC)
Take our "solid" at-large candidates (current Tournament Odds at 75 percent or better) and you have 31 teams in the field. Add in the remaining automatic qualifiers and that's another 23 spots. All told we have 54 of the 68 spots accounted for, with only 14 up for grabs among Monday's bubble teams.
