Top performances from ranked prospects

Here is a look at the top performances from the past week (Dec. 11-Dec. 17) from some of the top players in the country, ranked in our ESPN 100, 60 or 25.

Class of 2013: ESPN 100

No. 1 Andrew Wiggins, SF

With North Carolina head coach Roy Williams in attendance, Wiggins went for 17 points and 18 rebounds on Wednesday in Huntington Prep’s 99-53 rout of the University of Charleston JV squad. He poured in 32 points and grabbed 10 boards on Friday night in a 61-54 decision over Walnut Hills (Cincinnati). Wiggins’ 21 points and 11 rebounds led the Express past Arlington Country Day (Fla.) 55-35 on Saturday.

No. 2 Jabari Parker, SF

Parker continues to work his way back from a broken foot suffered in July. In a nationally televised game on ESPN on Thursday, he managed five points, four rebounds and five turnovers as then-No. 1 Simeon fell to DeSoto (Texas) 67-57. He played sparingly on Saturday in Simeon’s 55-44 win over Arlington (Tenn.) at the Memphis Braggin’ Rights Classic. Parker sat out Monday’s game against Carver.

No. 3 Andrew Harrison, PG

Playing through a hamstring injury Thursday, Andrew scored 10 points and added seven rebounds as Travis knocked off Archbishop Mitty (Calif.) 56-53 in overtime on ESPN. He sat out Travis’ loss to Baltimore St. Frances on Friday at the I-95 Challenge.

No. 5 Aaron Harrison, SG

Aaron battled leg cramps on Thursday night in leading Travis past Archbishop Mitty (Calif.) 56-53 in overtime on ESPN. His layup with 15 seconds left put the Tigers up one and his two free throws with two seconds remaining provided the final margin as he finished with 26 points (7-29 FGs), seven rebounds and three blocks. On Saturday he led all scorers with 20 points but the Tigers fell to Baltimore St. Frances 63-58 Friday at the I-95 Challenge.

No. 6 James Young, SG

The Kentucky-bound senior scored 14 points on Friday night as Rochester (Mich.) beat Farmington 51-22. Young’s 23 points were not enough on Saturday in the Falcons’ 58-52 loss to Chandler Park.

No. 7 Aaron Gordon, PF

Gordon’s 3-poointer at the buzzer in overtime rimmed out and Archbishop Mitty fell to Fort Bend Travis (Texas) 56-53 on Thursday night. The undeclared senior finished with 14 points, nine rebounds and three assists. An ankle injury forced Gordon to come off the bench Saturday but he went on to score 19 points in Mitty’s 71-60 win over San Diego Lincoln.

No. 11 Bobby Portis, PF

Portis poured in 27 points in Little Rock Hall’s 55-29 win over Mills.

No. 13 Austin Nichols, PF

The Memphis signee had 26 points on Friday night but Briarcrest fell to White Station 61-52. Nichols scored 22 points as Briarcrest held off Kirby 45-42 on Saturday at the Braggin’ Rights Classic.

No. 14 Anthony Barber, PG

Barber scored 11 of his game-high 23 points in the fourth quarter of Hampton’s 65-50 win over Woodside on Tuesday.

No. 16 Wayne Selden, SF

Selden tallied 26 points on 11-of-17 shooting and added five rebounds, three assists and two steals in Tilton’s 69-54 win over Vermont Academy Wednesday. The senior had 13 points and six assists on Friday in a 70-53 win over Lawrence Academy and put up 12 points, six rebounds and three steals in a 63-59 win over Wilbraham and Monson on Saturday.

No. 18 Isaiah Hicks, PF

Hicks put up 20 points and 21 rebounds on Friday night in Oxford Webb’s 81-75 win over Roxboro Person.

No. 21 Demetrius Jackson, PG

The Notre Dame-bound Jackson scored 24 points but it wasn’t enough on Friday night in Marian’s 77-67 loss to Washington.

No. 22 Keith Frazier, SG

The undeclared senior finished with 23 points and 10 rebounds but his Kimball squad fell to Seguin 72-63 on Thursday night in a nationally televised game on ESPNU. Frazier battled foul trouble in a 97-74 loss to Houston Yates on Saturday, finishing with seven points.

No. 24 Zak Irvin, SF

The Michigan-bound Irvin scored 30 points on 11-of-19 shooting as Hamilton Southeastern knocked off Zionsville 66-59 on Friday. He poured in 33 points on Saturday in an 82-77 win over North Central.

No. 25 Isaac Hamilton, SG

Hamilton’s 24-point effort on Friday not could not prevent St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) from suffering its first loss of the season in a 63-62 defeat to Inglewood.

No. 26 Xavier Rathan-Mayes, SG

The Florida State signee finished with a whopping 17 assists on Wednesday night in Huntington Prep’s 99-53 romp over the University of Charleston JV. XRM chipped in eight points as the Express held off Walnut Hills (Cincinnati) 61-54 on Friday. On Saturday, he knocked down five 3-pointers, finishing with 18 points in a 55-35 win over Arlington Country Day (Fla.).

No. 27 Tyler Roberson, PF

Roberson scored 13 points and pulled down 15 rebounds on Friday in Roselle Catholic’s 73-65 win over The Patrick School. The Syracuse-bound forward finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds as Roselle Catholic knocked off Pope John 71-58 Sunday at the Tip-Off Hoop Group Showcase. He went for 29 points on Monday in a 66-53 win over Newark Vocational.

No. 28 Ishmail Wainright, SF

The Baylor recruit scored 12 points, pulled down 11 boards and added 10 assists – notching his second triple-double on the season – in Montrose Christian’s 67-30 win over Chapelgate Christian on Wednesday.

No. 31 Nick King, SF

The Memphis recruit finished with 19 points but Memphis East fell to Maplewood-Richmond Heights (Mo.) 48-43 on Saturday at the Midwest Showdown Shootout.

No. 32 BeeJay Anya, C

The N.C. State recruit had 21 points in DeMatha’s 75-42 rout of Carroll on Thursday night. Anya went for 13 points, 15 rebounds and six blocks as the Stags held on to knock off North Point 60-57 at the DMV Tip-Off Classic on Saturday night.

No. 33 Troy Williams, SF

Williams went for 17 points in Oak Hill’s 81-53 win over Keenan (S.C.) Friday night. He chipped in 10 points on Saturday in a 59-51 win over Ridge View (S.C.).

No. 34 Matt Thomas, SG

Thomas scored 29 points but hit only 2-of-13 from downtown Saturday in Onalaska’s 59-45 loss to Milwaukee Hamilton at the NY2LA Sports Classic.

No. 35 Derrick Walton, PG

Walton scored 17 points and added seven assists and three rebounds for Chandler Park on Saturday in a 58-52 win over Rochester.

No. 36 Matt Jones, SG

The Duke-bound guard put on a show in front of his future coach, Mike Krzyzewski, on Thursday night. Jones scored a game-high 23 points on 8-of-13 shooting and added five rebounds as DeSoto knocked of No. 1 Chicago Simeon 67-57 on ESPN.

No. 37 Johnathan Williams III, PF

The Missouri recruit scored 23 points on Friday night in Southwind’s 89-74 romp over Houston. Williams chipped in 20 points as Southwind knocked off Lausanne 100-60 on Saturday at the Braggin’ Rights Classic.

No. 40 Anton Gill, SG

The Louisville signee exploded for 56 points – which included nine 3-pointers – in Hargrave’s 119-92 win over the University of Charleston JV. Gill finished 19-of-26 shooting and added 16 rebounds, five steals and four assists.

No. 42 Deonte Burton, SF

Burton scored 33 points in Milwaukee Vincent’s 74-59 win over Whitefish Bay Dominican on Saturday.

No. 43 Brannen Greene, SG

The Kansas signee finished with a triple-double on Friday (26 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists) in Tift County’s 91-50 rout of Central. Greene’s 20 points helped the Devils sail by Crisp County 72-43 on Saturday night.

No. 44 Tyler Ennis, PG

Ennis hit three 3’s on his way to 25 points in St. Benedict’s 67-54 win over Hun on Wednesday. The Syracuse-bound Ennis poured in 29 on Saturday in a 100-45 rout of Delsea. Ennis’ 20 points led St. Ben’s past Wilbraham and Monson 57-39 on Sunday at the Hoop Group Tip-Off Classic.

No. 45 Roddy Peters, PG

The senior had 22 points to lead Suitland past Oxon Hill 80-71 on Tuesday. He went for a game-high 32 points on Friday in a 71-66 win over Northwestern. Peters poured in 19 points but Suitland fell to St. John’s 65-64 on Saturday at the DMV Tip-Off Classic. The Maryland recruit is planning on undergoing shoulder surgery on Friday which is expected to end his season.

No. 46 Sindarius Thornwell, SG

Thornwell scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds as Oak Hill Academy held off Ridge View 59-51 on Saturday night.

No. 49 Moses Kingsley, C

Kingsley’s 21 points, eight rebounds and four blocks helped Huntington Prep cruise by the University of Charleston JV squad on Wednesday night. He had four points on Friday night in a win over Walnut Hills (Cincinnati). His nine points and 12 rebounds helped the Express get by Arlington Country Day (Fla.) 55-35 on Saturday.

No. 50 Nigel Williams-Goss, PG

The senior guard helped Findlay Prep cruise by Impact Academy on Wednesday with 21 points, six assists and five rebounds.

No. 51 Zach LaVine, PG

The UCLA recruit finished with 35 points on Friday night in Bothell’s 82-56 rout of Inglemoor.

No. 52 Nate Britt, PG

Britt sat out Oak Hill’s win over Keenan (S.C.) on Friday night and is expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks with a torn meniscus.

No. 54 Allerik Freeman, SG

Freeman poured in 22 points and added five rebounds and five assists as Findlay Prep hammered Impact Academy 120-79 on Wednesday.

No. 55 Kameron Williams, SG

Williams led all scorers with 24 points on Saturday in Mount St. Joseph’s 77-53 rout of St. Paul’s.

No. 56 Mike Young, PF

Young chipped in 13 points for St. Benedict’s on Wednesday in a 67-54 win over Hun. He had 12 points in a 100-45 rout of Delsea on Saturday.

No. 57 Duane Wilson, PG

In a matchup against his future Marquette teammate Deonte Burton, Wilson scored 34 points but his Dominican team fell to Milwaukee Vincent 74-59 on Saturday.

No. 58 Stanford Robinson, SG

The Indiana signee scored 10 points and added five rebounds and five assists in Findlay’s 120-79 rout of Southwest Prep (Fla.) on Thursday.

No. 59 Kendrick Nunn, SG

Nunn scored 11 points and grabbed four rebounds as Simeon fell to DeSoto (Texas) 67-57 on Thursday night in a game televised on ESPN.

No. 61 Nick Emery, PG

Emery knocked down five 3-pointers on his way to 25 points in Lone Peak’s 79-41 rout of Viewmont on Wednesday.

No. 63 Christian Wood, PF

The UNLV-bound Wood led the way with 22 points and 14 rebounds in Findlay Prep’s 120-79 rout of Impact Academy on Wednesday.

No. 64 JaJuan Johnson, SG

Johnson led all scorers with 30 points in Southwind’s 89-74 rout of Houston on Friday. The Marquette signee finished with 23 points as Southwind rolled by Lausanne 100-60 on Saturday.

No. 65 Kendall Stephens, SG

Stephens’ game-high 27 points was not enough as St. Charles East (Ill.) dropped a 69-64 decision to Metea Valley on Thursday night.

No. 66 Rysheed Jordan, PG

Jordan did it all on Monday in Vaux’ 78-67 win over Communications Tech, finishing with 22 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists and seven steals.

No. 68 Reggie Cameron, PF

The Georgetown recruit tallied 14 points and added seven rebounds in Hudson Catholic’s 64-46 win over St. Peter’s Prep on Sunday.

No. 74 Wes Clark, PG

Clark finished with 11 points as Romulus (Mich.) rolled by Lansing Sexton 67-52 on Saturday.

No. 75 Damian Jones, PF

Jones contributed eight blocked shots coming off the bench for Scotlandville on Saturday in a 64-61 overtime win against St. Augustine.

No. 76 Eric Mika, C

The BYU-bound Mika put up a double-double (21 points and 11 rebounds) on Wednesday as Lone Peak cruised by Viewmont 79-41.

No. 78 Billy Garrett Jr., PG

The DePaul-bound senior scored 12 points for Morgan Park in a 67-58 win over Lawrence North (Indianapolis) on Saturday.

No. 81 Dominic Woodson, C

The future Baylor Bear scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds in Huntington Prep’s 99-53 rout of the University of Charleston JV on Wednesday. Woodson had seven points on Friday night in a 61-54 win over Walnut Hills (Cincinnati).

No. 82 Monte Morris, PG

Morris scored 18 points, dished out eight assists and added five steals as Beecher won its 31st game in a row with a 75-55 decision over Goodrich on Friday.

No. 84 Akoy Agau, PF

Agau led Omaha Central with 20 points in the Eagles’ 70-51 win over Millard West on Friday night.

No. 87 Steve Vasturia, SG

The future Notre Dame guard chipped in 15 points in St. Joseph’s Prep’s 67-42 win over Roxborough on Saturday.

No. 88 E.C. Matthews, SG

The URI recruit led Romulus with 19 points in a 67-52 win over Lansing Sexton on Saturday afternoon.

No. 92 Malcolm Hill, SG

The Illinois signee led Belleville East with 29 points in the Lancers’ 64-43 rout of O’Fallon on Friday night.

No. 93 Rashawn Powell, PG

“Pookie” Powell led Dr. Phillips with 32 points as the Panthers cruised by West Orange 66-50 on Wednesday night. He scored 33 points on Friday night and added six assists in a 79-77 victory over Edgewater.

No. 97 Jaren Sina, PG

Sina opened his season with a 40-point effort but Gill St. Bernard’s fell to Our Savior New American Friday night. On Saturday he scored 16 as the Knights dropped a 58-38 decision to The Patrick School (N.J.).

No. 98 Aquille Carr, PG

Carr scored a game-high 23 points on Saturday in Princeton Day’s 65-62 victory over Riverdale Baptist at the DMV Tip-Off Classic.

No. 100 Kentan Facey, PF

Facey finished with a double-double – 23 points and 14 rebounds – in Long Island Lutheran’s 61-54 win over Farmingdale on Tuesday.
