BEVERLY, Mass. -- The New England Prep School Athletic Council (NEPSAC), almost universally considered to be the nation’s premier post-graduate basketball league, held its league championships on Sunday in its top three classes.
Phillips Exeter Academy scored a 58-47 win over Choate Rosemary Hall in the Class A final, while Jalen Adams banked in a 35-foot runner at the buzzer to give Cushing Academy a dramatic win over St. Andrew’s School in the Class AA final. The nightcap was an overtime battle between St. Thomas More School and Brewster Academy that wasn’t resolved until Ron Patterson rose up to give Brewster a game-winner with 17 seconds to play in overtime.
Here were some of the top performers from the NEPSAC finals.
