KU to prep Wiggins for NBA success

When Kansas star freshman Ben McLemore declared for the NBA draft, it created a need for an explosive wing scorer.

Kansas filled that void Tuesday with the best player in the country, ESPN 100 No. 1 prospect Andrew Wiggins -- the highest-rated commit of the Bill Self era. The Jayhawks can lay claim to a top-ranked prospect after watching other basketball blue bloods such as UNC (Harrison Barnes in 2010) and Kentucky (Anthony Davis, Nerlens Noel) snag the nation’s top talent the past three years.
