Four star small forward Justin Smith committed to Indiana on Monday night after also considering Villanova. The No. 80 prospect in the ESPN 100 officially visited both the Hoosiers and the Wildcats before deciding to head to Bloomington.
Let's take a look at what Smith will bring to Indiana.
Why he committed: Smith ultimately decided that he could make a more immediate impact at Indiana and being an Illinois native stay a little closer to home where family and friends could see him play in the Big Ten Conference.
What he brings: At 6-foot-7, Smith brings great length and athleticism to the court. He is aggressive and when in full attack mode is a difficult perimeter match up. Smith is electric on the break and a big time slasher in the halfcourt set where he can also hit the open jumper with range to the arc when his feet are set. Smith is a good and willing passer and decent perimeter rebounder to go along with his ability to defend multiple positions.
