Pitt adds guard to 2012 class

Pittsburgh head coach Jamie Dixon landed a verbal commitment on Monday night from shooting guard Chris Jones (Teaneck, N.J./Teaneck H.S.).

According to ESPN.com Recruiting Coordinator Adam Finkelstein, Jones held offers from Colorado, Nebraska, Rhode Island, Towson, Boston University and LaSalle. He chose the Panthers after receiving an offer last week.

Jones joins a class that is currently ranked No. 13 by Recruiting Nation and features center Steven Adams (New Zealand/Notre Dame Prep) and point guard James Robinson (Hyattsville, Md./DeMatha Catholic).
