T.J. Parker-Rivera joins Towson class

ESPN.com Recruiting Coordinator Adam Finkelstein reported on his New England Recruiting Report site that power forward T.J. Parker-Rivera verbally committed to Towson on Monday.

The 6-foot-6 Parker-Rivera chose the Tigers over Boston University, Iona and Temple.

"I went down to Towson two weeks ago and really liked the campus and the players," he said. "Coach (Pat) Skerry came to my school and spent time talking to my family, and I knew I wanted to commit."

Parker-Rivera becomes part of an impressive first recruiting class for Skerry. He also has pledges from point guard Frank Mason, point guard Jerome Hairston and power forward Barrington Alston.
