Cougars add another juco guard

University of Houston head coach James Dickey announced the signing of junior college point guard Tione Womack (Randallstown, Md./Hagerstown C.C.) on Thursday. He is the second juco guard to sign with the Cougars this week, joining Brandon Morris (Kansas City Kansas C.C.).

"We are excited to have Tione join our program. He has been a proven winner everywhere he has competed, and we look forward to his leadership on our team," Dickey said. "Tione has a pass-first mentality that creates easy scoring opportunities for his teammates and is a quick, solid on-ball defender."

Womack averaged 10.0 points and 7.6 assists as a sophomore at Hagerstown. He joins a Cougar class currently ranked No. 18 on ESPN.com.
