Dayton adds point guard

The Dayton Daily News reported on Monday that head coach Archie Miller landed a commitment from point guard Khari Price (Slidell, La./Salmen H.S.).

The 6-foot lead guard picked the Flyers over South Florida, Western Kentucky, Troy and TCU.

Miller has only two guards returning next season so landing a backcourt player was a necessity.

"That was a part of my decision with the playing time opening up," Price told the paper. "I just want to help these guys get to a championship and do what I can."

Price averaged 18.2 points for Salmen this past winter. He joins Northland High (Columbus, Ohio) teammates Devon Scott and Jalen Robinson in the Flyers incoming class.
