Columbia lands PF En'Wezoh

The Ivy League's Columbia University landed a verbal commitment on Tuesday from power forward Zach En'Wezoh (Kennewick, Wash.).

ESPN.com Recruiting Coordinator Adam Finkelstein confirmed the news.

"En'Wezoh is a good piece and great fit in Columbia's class," Finkelstein said. "At six-foot-seven, he's a high level athlete and terrific interior defender.

"Head coach Kyle Smith had made it his primary objective to improve his team's skill level since arriving in New York and En'Wezoh will be the perfect compliment to those guys as he can patrol the paint and block shots from a wide radius as well as he can crash the glass on both ends of the floor."

En'Wezoh joins Florida forward Jeff Coby (Weston, Fla.) in the Lions 2012 class.
