Creighton landed a verbal commitment on Sunday from 6-foot-6 small forward Tevin Calhoun (Linden, N.J.), according to the Omaha World-Herald.
The junior college transfer made his decision while on his official visit to Omaha over the weekend. He was garnering interest from Big Ten and Pac-12 programs, according to his coach at Hill College.
"There's no question in my mind that he could play at the highest level of Division I," Swede Trenkle told the paper. "He's really long and athletic - he has a 7-foot wingspan. He can put the ball on the floor and score, but his best asset is his ability to shoot he ball."
