Purdue's No. 13 class has signed up

Purdue head coach Matt Painter announced the signing of his nationally ranked class on Wednesday.

Suiting up for Painter in Wes Lafayette next season will be a trio of ESPNU 100 prospects, including shooting guard Rapheal Davis (Fort Wayne, Ind./La Lumiere School), center A.J. Hammons (Carmel, Ind./Oak Hill Academy) and point guard Ronnie Johnson (Indianapolis, Ind./North Central H.S.) along with power forward Jay Simpson (Champaign, Ill./La Lumiere School).

"I think we've signed a class with a little bit of everything, and that doesn't always happen," Painter said. "When you're able to get size, shot blocking and the ability to rebound the ball to go along with a scorer and a point guard, it's a great class."
