Mitchell, Prestonwood capture COP title

Led by freshman forward Mickey Mitchell's game-high 19 points and eight rebounds, Prestonwood Christian Academy knocked off Grace Prep (Arlington, Tex.) 62-42 on Wednesday in the City of Palms Classic championship.

The win avenges a loss PCA suffered last week to the Lions on ESPNU.

Super 60 junior Julius Randle battled foul trouble and managed only seven points and seven rebounds but was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament after averaging 20 points per game. Kansas signeee Zach Petersadded 15 for Prestonwood.

Baylor-bound senior Isaiah Austin finished with 10 points and 15 rebounds for Grace Prep before fouling out with five minutes left. Sophomore guard Emmanuel Mudiay scored 10 for the Lions.
