ESPN 100 Devin Williams to West Virginia

ESPN.com has confirmed that 6-foot-8 power forward Devin Williams (Cincinnati/Montverde Academy) verbally committed to West Virginia on Saturday.

Williams, ranked No. 84 in the ESPN 100, had narrowed his choices to the Mountaineers, Ohio State and Memphis.

"[West Virginia] fits my playing style," Williams told ESPN.com. "I feel that I am a [head coach Bob] Huggins guy. I like the players and coaches. West Virginia is somewhere I feel I can come in a make an impact right away. I think I will be a good player in the Big 12."

RecruitingNation's John Stovall describes Williams as a "big-bodied low post player who can step out and hit face-up jump shots out to 17 feet. He has continued to improve each year of his high school career.

"His move to Montverde from Withrow (Ohio) High will allow him to play a national schedule and presumably better competition."

Williams joins PF Elijah Macon (Columbus, Ohio/Brewster Academy), C Brandon Watkins (Decatur, Ga./Grady) and PF Nathan Adrian (Morgantown, W.Va./Morgantown) in WVU's 2013 class.
