San Jose State adds two seniors

New San Jose State head coach Dave Wojcik added two Class of 2013 recruits over the weekend.

Shooting guard Rashad Muhammad (Las Vegas/Bishop Gorman) and point guard Jalen James (Chicago/La Lumiere) both pledged to the Spartans, according to multiple sources.

Muhammad, the younger brother of UCLA star freshman Shabazz Muhammad, averaged 19 points for Bishop Gorman this past season and chose San Jose State over Wyoming, Drake and Loyola Marymount, among others.

James led La Lumiere to a No. 20 ranking in the ESPN 25 Power Rankings this season and also had interest from Drake, Auburn and Charleston. He was at one point verbally committed to Illinois.
