Connecticut has landed a commitment for its incoming class from German forward Leon Tolksdorf (ALBA Berlin II). The news was first reported by The Recruit Scoop.
He made his commitment while on a visit with head coach Jim Calhoun on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-7 Tolksdorf averaged 5.2 points in 14.2 minutes for ALBA Berlin II this past season. He will join guard Omar Calhoun (Brooklyn, N.Y./Chris The King) and power forward Phillip Nolan (Milwaukee, Wisc./Riverside University H.S.) in Storrs next season. The Huskies have two other German players on their roster, juniors Enosch Wolf and Niels Giffey.
