What to watch this weekend

Hitting the road

With a bye week, West Virginia coach Dana Holgorsen can hit the road recruiting. And with a bit of free time, he might want to keep close tabs on Deontay McManus. The three-star athlete from Baltimore Dunbar has said he'll take visits to Alabama, Auburn, Miami and Oregon despite committing to the Mountaineers this summer. Perhaps he's just enjoying his recruiting journey, but the travel plans still have to be a bit disconcerting for Mountaineer coaching staff.

Taking in the Tigers

Four-star defensive end Kenderius Whitehead from Atlanta (Ga.) Martin Luther King will visit Clemson this weekend. Whitehead has long said Georgia is his leader but the differences between the two programs could prove interesting. Clemson is one of the hottest programs in the nation and questions will continue to swirl around Mark Richt despite a win over Tennessee last week.
