PSU visitors get surprise

With the New England Patriots finishing up their AFC Divisional playoff victory over Denver close to midnight EST on Saturday, it was up in the air as to whether new Penn State coach Bill O'Brien, still serving as the Pats' offensive coordinator, would make it to State College afterwards.

Many of Penn State's official visitors this weekend, which included nearly all of the Nittany Lions' 14 commits, were not expecting O'Brien to make it.

However, O'Brien made it to Penn State early Sunday morning and spoke with each Penn State commit individually, four-star commit Eugene Lewis confirmed.

"He was telling me that he's ready to start a new era for Penn State and put things the way it was," Lewis said.
