Webb, Barnwell among juniors with offers

There is very little -- if any – down time in the world of college football recruiting.

Ohio State coach Urban Meyer made that clear during his press conference Wednesday to announce the school's 2012 recruiting class.

“We are now knee deep into the 2013 kids,” Meyer told the assembled media. “We've already had a junior day. We've been on the phone all day with a lot of guys.”

ESPNU 150 Watch List defensive tackle Greg Webb (Sicklerville, N.J./Timber Creek) said he received five scholarship offers Wednesday. The offers came from the following schools: Alabama, Boston College, Michigan, North Carolina and Wisconsin.

Webb, who is undefeated as a heavyweight wrestler this season, now has 19 offers. He transferred to Timber Creek from Paul VI (Hammonton) last April. He started on the defensive line for Paul VI during his freshman and sophomore seasons.

Three other top Northeast recruits from the Class of 2013 also received multiple offers Wednesday. Like Webb, each of the following players is on the ESPNU 150 Watch List:

Cornerback Nadir Barnwell (Piscataway, N.J./Piscataway): Notre Dame, Massachusetts.

Cornerback Eli Woodard (Vorhees, N.J./Eastern): Michigan, North Carolina.

Defensive end Dajuan Drennon (Erial, N.J./Timber Creek): Michigan, North Carolina.
