Gilman recruits keep adding offers

To no one's surprise, Baltimore (Md.) Gilman continues to prove itself as a hotbed of talent.

Two Watch List prospects from the school recently garnered more offers. Penn State offered scholarships to outside linebacker Micah Kiser and defensive tackle Henry Poggi, who could also play tight end in college.

Poggi, who visited Ohio State on Friday, also recently received a scholarship offer from California.

Poggi said Michigan and Tennessee were his leaders last fall but with so many more suitors -- well over 30 scholarship offers -- things are much more unclear now. He's also expressed strong interest in Stanford because of its unique combination of football and academics.

Meanwhile, Poggi, sophomore linebacker Melvin Keihn and junior quarterback/safety Shane Cockerille visited Maryland on Sunday for the Terrapins basketball game.

Gilman figures to have at least six BCS prospects for the 2013 class and likely more.
