Blanche Ely (Pompano Beach, Fla.) cornerback Rashard Robinson recently received his second offer and it was a big one.
LSU contacted the 6-foot-1, 160-pound junior on the first day of the spring evaluation period and offered.
"Yes sir, LSU is my second offer and they join Florida State, who offered about weeks ago," Robinson said. "Like FSU, LSU has a great defense and they are real aggressive in the secondary.
"Plus my friend Patrick Peterson went to school there and he's excelled there. I'm still trying to learn more about the coaching staff and I'm going online to watch a lot of their games now."
Robinson was planning on attending the FSU spring game but had to participate in a 7-on-7 tournament.
Expect Robinson to continue playing in 7-on-7 events after spring football as a member of the South Florida Express Elite squad.
"I know we have the IMG Madden national tournament up in Bradenton over the summer," Robinson said. "And I think the South Florida Express will be going to the LSU and Alabama camps.
"I'm also going to visit Florida State over the summer and probably work out at their camp."
