Penn State is DT Nick Flores' first visit

It was the first college visit for Paramus (N.J.) Catholic defensive lineman Nick Flores. It might be hard for any visit from here on out to top it, though.

The 2014 defensive tackle took a trip to Penn State this past weekend for the Ohio State game with some teammates, and the 6-foot, 255-pound junior enjoyed every part of it.

"The atmosphere was great, fans were good, everything was nice," Flores said. "I really liked it up there."

Flores took the trip with his father and teammates Juwann Bushell-Beatty, Billy-Ray Mitchell and Steve Shanley, who raved about the visit.

The atmosphere and scene at Beaver Stadium for the White Out game is what stuck out to Flores most.

"It was crazy," he said. "It was a White Out, it was sold out and it was great. I loved it."

A starter since his freshman season, Flores said he is receiving a lot of mail from Penn State and is also hearing from Rutgers.
