The Big Ten is known for producing offensive linemen, so new member Rutgers will be happy to see it added another one Tuesday.
Four-star guard Dorian Miller (Metuchen, N.J./Metuchen) committed to the Scarlet Knights over Connecticut and North Carolina in a TV ceremony.
Miller, who lives about 15 minutes from Rutgers, was long considered a Rutgers lean and said several times Rutgers set the bar throughout his recruitment.
Miller becomes Rutgers' 18th commitment and third highest-rated verbal. He is No. 22 among guards nationally.
Adding a player of Miller's caliber is a big get for the Knights as they were struggling to attract the state's top talent. Including Miller, only two of the top 15 prospects in New Jersey are committed to Rutgers.
He is the brother of former Oklahoma receiver Dejuan Miller.
