How top Northeast recruits played over the weekend

How some of the top recruits in the Northeast performed last weekend:

Devin Fuller (Old Tappan, N.J./Old Tappan): Four-star athlete continued his assault on opposing defenses by rushing for 334 yards and four touchdowns on 15 carries in a 46-27 triumph over Ramapo. Fuller also completed 6 of 8 passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns.

Fuller, the top recruit from New Jersey in the Class of 2012, has accounted for 17 touchdowns in his last three games. He took an official visit to Nebraska earlier this month, and is also considering Alabama, Boston College, Connecticut, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Miami, Penn State, Rutgers, TCU and UCLA.

Abner Logan (Cambridge, Mass./Dexter School): Three-star linebacker is also being recruited as a running back. He rushed for 212 yards and two touchdowns, recorded 6½ tackles and made an interception in a 25-20 loss to Portsmouth Abbey. Logan, the top uncommitted recruit from Massachusetts, took an official visit to NC State on Saturday. He's also scheduled to visit Connecticut, Maryland, Northwestern and Syracuse.

Kye Morgan (Somerset, N.J./Franklin): Virginia-bound running back rushed for 146 yards and four touchdowns on 13 carries to help Franklin defeat Ridge 41-3.

A.J. Doyle (Lakeville, Mass./Catholic Memorial): Two-star quarterback completed 10 of 13 passes for 157 yards and two touchdowns during a 26-0 triumph over Brockton. He also carried the ball 15 times for 80 yards. Doyle committed to NC State as a linebacker, but pulled back on that commitment last month after deciding he wants to play QB in college.

Ruhann Peele (Linden, N.J./Linden): Three-star wide receiver made six receptions for 124 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-0 victory over Plainfield. Peele became the first member of Rutgers' 2012 class when he committed in April.
