The recruiting gravy train continued to roll along for Baylor late Monday night, as the Bears scored offer No. 19 -- a relatively big name in the state of Texas.
Four-star inside linebacker James David (Rockdale, Texas/Rockdale) confirmed in text message that he has committed to Baylor. David, a 6-foot-1, 217-pound linebacker, is Baylor’s third four-star commit and the seventh commit already in June.
David chose Baylor over offers from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Washington, Colorado, Oregon State and Houston. Baylor, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State were among David’s top choices for quite some time.
David is ranked No. 10 nationally among inside linebackers. He’s the No. 24 player in the Lone Star State.
