Nacoqdoches, Texas -- Senior center Jacob Bragg (Nacogdoches, Texas/Nacogdoches High) was presented his honorary game jersey during the American Family Insurance Selection Tour for the 2014 Under Armour All-America High School Football Game at Nacoqdoches High School in Nacoqdoches, Texas on Sept. 13.
Bragg, a Kansas commitment, is one of 90 players selected to compete in the 2014 Under Armour All-America Game.
“To everybody out there in Nacogdoches, my coaches, my teammates, drill team, cheerleaders, student body, the band ... I just want to thank y’all for supporting me through this whole ordeal,” Bragg said. “I want to thank my parents, my coaches; I’m just blessed.”
Nacogdoches head coach Bobby Reyes said this is a huge honor for the East Texas city of Nacogdoches.
“I want to say congratulations to Jacob and his family. There is a lot of hard work that has been put in. This is quite an honor for him, but I’m sure he will tell you that it’s a huge honor for the football team, Nacogdoches High School and Nacogdoches, Texas,” Reyes said.
The 6-foot-4, 314-pound Bragg is the No. 260 ranked prospect overall, and the No. 3 center in the class. He committed to Kansas over offers from Oregon State and Louisiana Tech.
