This past weekend didn’t turn out the way Stanvon Taylor (Tulsa, Okla./East Central) wanted. He was scheduled to participate in a track meet on Saturday, but the meet was canceled because of inclement weather.
In addition to missing the meet, Taylor also missed the Oklahoma spring game. The Sooners are on his personal list of interested schools, but the team has not extended an offer as of yet. One school that has offered the 5-foot-11, 165-pound cornerback is Arkansas, and Taylor on Monday said he is planning on visiting the SEC school this weekend.
“I want to get a better feel with the place and see what the coaches are feeling about me,” said Taylor, who has 11 offers, the latest coming last week from Houston.
Along with Arkansas and Houston, Taylor has offers from Arizona State, Texas Tech, Kansas State and Ole Miss, among others.
