High three-star tight end Christian Morgan (Plano, Texas/Prestonwood Christian) is near the apex of his recruiting process, and he is nearing closer and closer to making a decision.
Morgan’s top six – Ole Miss, Arkansas, Baylor, Cal, Washington and Miami, in no particular order – haven’t changed in weeks, and he said on Thursday that he still has plans of ending his recruiting process around the end of May at his spring game. There’s a small chance, however, that he may decide a little earlier.
“I’m going to see how these next few weeks play out,” said Morgan, a 6-foot-4, 250-pound tight end who brings versatility to Prestonwood’s program. Morgan is a legit blocking tight end, but he also caught 13 passes for 191 yards during the 2011 season.
Florida was in town to see Morgan on Tuesday, and Baylor was in town Thursday. Morgan will visit Ole Miss on Friday and travel to Washington at the end of the month. In addition to the six programs mentioned, he has offers from Missouri, Kansas State, Arizona, Iowa State, SMU and others.
