High three-star tight end Christian Morgan (Plano, Texas/Prestonwood) was a popular guy on Wednesday.
In addition to picking up an offer from Arizona State, Morgan also added interest from Florida State, West Virginia and Boise State. All three schools were on the Prestonwood campus Wednesday, and offers from all three could be on the way.
“It’s been awesome,” said Morgan, a 6-foot-4, 250-pound tight end. “I’m definitely reconsidering everything and just going to see what happens from here.”
Morgan originally had a top six of Ole Miss, Arkansas, Baylor, Cal, Washington and Miami, but the new offer and added interest is making him rethink his recruiting. He originally wanted to make a decision at his spring game, but he is now unsure about the actual announcement date.
“I’ll be graduating early,” Morgan said, “so [it’ll be] before then.”
Morgan was offered by Arizona State offensive coordinator Mike Norvell. Ranked No. 8 among tight ends nationally, Morgan said he will make an unofficial visit to Washington this weekend. He is ranked No. 53 among players in Texas.
