With 13 offers, massive offensive tackle Dan Skipper (Arvada, Colo./Ralston Valley) is taking his time and weighing all options. Virginia became lucky No. 13 for him late last week, as offensive line coach Scott Wachenheim extended the offer.
Skipper, a 6-foot-10, 285-pound, three-star lineman, now holds six Pac-12 offers, two SEC offers and – with the Virginia – two from the ACC.
“Playing in the ACC would be good,” Skipper said. Virginia has a great campus, and I liked the feel of it all. It’s a lot like Colorado to me. The coaches want me to get out for a visit.”
Some of the more well-known programs that have offered include Missouri, Arizona State, Washington and Colorado. Skipper also has received interest from Oklahoma, Northwestern, Alabama and Wisconsin, among others.
Skipper said he doesn’t have any plans for unofficial visits until June. He said he will visit Missouri the weekend of June 7.
