Demetrius Knox (Fort Worth, Texas/All Saints) is ready to make his decision.
The ESPN Watch List 2014 offensive tackle is planning to announce his choice on Nov. 26 at a ceremony at his school.
"I was talking it over with my coach and he said we should just go ahead and get this whole thing over with," Knox said. "I'm kind of tired of talking to other coaches and all that stuff. I just want everybody to know where I'm going."
When that day does arrive, he'll have four hats on the table to choose from: Texas, Ohio State, TCU and Alabama. Knox said he's already reached his decision but doesn't want to announce it until after the Thanksgiving weekend.
Before then, Knox isn't sure whether he'll do any more unofficial visits. He'd talked in the past about taking a trip to Ohio State but doesn't think he'll make it to Columbus for the end of the month.
The 6-foot-4, 300-pound tackle nearly committed to Texas back in August when teammate Daniel Gresham gave the Longhorns his pledge for the class of 2014. He's glad he waited, because it gave him time to take unofficial visits before he made his choice.
"I got to sit back and see what everybody else has to offer," Knox said.
Knox helped lead All Saints to a perfect season as a junior, and the Saints beat Houston St. John's 60-50 last Saturday to win the SPC small-school state championship.
In addition to the final four schools he's considering, Knox holds nearly a dozen other offers, including Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Michigan and UCLA.
