Archbishop Alter (Kettering, Ohio) junior quarterback Malik Zaire has been on a bit of a hot streak when it comes to offers, and he added two more recently.
Zaire earned scholarship offers from Illinois and Pittsburgh over the last few days after picking up one from Nebraska recently, too.
On Sunday, Zaire was at Ohio State for the Buckeyes' first junior day under Urban Meyer.
"It was everything you would want in a successful and hard-working place," Zaire wrote in a text message.
Nebraska, Ohio State and Pitt are the early leaders for Zaire, who has a total of nine offers. Wisconsin used to be among his favorites until former offensive coordinator Paul Chryst became the head coach at Pitt.
Zaire's teammate and one of his leading pass catchers, Greg Hart, also picked up a couple of offers recently. Indiana and Kentucky offered the Alter tight end/defensive end.
