Notre Dame adds ESPN 150 DE

The last week has certainly been kind to Notre Dame.

After securing a commitment from ESPN 150 linebacker Jaylon Smith on Saturday, the Fighting Irish picked up another big-time commitment Thursday when ESPN 150 defensive end Isaac Rochell (McDonough, Ga./Eagles Landing Christian Academy) ended the speculation and committed to Notre Dame.

"Ever since they started recruiting me, their class has really improved," Rochell told DawgNation's Kipp Adams. "We have a great class now, especially after we added Jaylon Smith."

Ending his Twitter hiatus, the four-star Rochell tweeted from his account @bigisaac78 that he was committing. "Glad to be Irish#irishmob13 #ndnation," he wrote.

The 6-foot-4, 250-pound defensive end is ranked No. 140 in the ESPN 150 and No. 12 at his position nationally. Among his numerous offers were Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia and Oklahoma.

Notre Dame has 14 commitments in its 2013 class, four of which are ESPN 150 members and nine are on the ESPN 300.
