Northwestern adds another O-lineman

Apparently two offensive line commitments in a single weekend was not enough for Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald. So, he added another one Monday.

Three-star offensive tackle Sam Coverdale (Chagrin Falls, Ohio/Kenston) announced via Twitter he committed to Northwestern late Monday afternoon.

"Officially a committed Northwestern #wildcat," he wrote from his account, @master_yashi75.

Three-star guard Brad North (Allen, Texas/Allen) and center Tyler Lancaster (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield East) committed on June 8.

The 6-foot-6, 280-pound Coverdale is No. 57 among tackles nationally and No. 32 overall in Ohio. He also had offers from Arizona State, Cincinnati, Louisville, Pittsburgh and several others.
