Ohio is taking its time putting it's 2013 class together, but the Bobcats are off to a good start in July.
Detroit Martin Luther King safety Leon Alexander committed to the Bobcats on Sunday, he told ESPN.com in a text message.
"I chose Ohio because I was very impressed with the campus and coaches," he wrote. "I felt more comfortable than what I thought I would, considering I was five hours away from home. The program is a hard-working program, with a great coaching staff and also proved Ohio could provide for my educational demands as well."
Alexander, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound safety, is the Bobcats' second commitment. He chose the Bobcats over offers from Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Army, Ball State, Central Michigan and Miami (Ohio).
