Khoury Crenshaw (Solon, Ohio/Solon) has offers from Akron, Kent State, Massachusetts and Eastern Illinois.
What he’s waiting for is that offer from West Virginia.
The 5-foot-10, 165-pound Crenshaw has interest from the Mountaineers as well as Cincinnati, Indiana, and Toledo.
In his mind – at least right now – the decision could be very simple.
“I’m mainly interested in West Virginia,” said Crenshaw, who caught a 27-yard pass for a touchdown Friday during Solon’s 24-21 win over Shaker Heights. “They’re my No. 1 choice right now. They’re spread offense is great. I feel like I would fit right in. I’m a speed guy, a fast guy. I’m a hard-working back. I’m 165 pounds and willing to work.”
While he’s got no official visits lined up just yet, he’s willing to wait things out as the season unfolds.
The Mountaineers told him to hold on a little while longer as he goes through his senior season on a team primed for a deep playoff run.
“I showed I’m willing to help the team out in any way,” Crenshaw said. “I’ll probably hold on a little longer. That’s what [West Virginia] wants me to do.
“I don’t have a set date yet, but whenever I get the best offer I’m interested in [I’ll commit]. Right now, it’s West Virginia.”
