With playoffs either having begun or just beginning around the Midwest, visits are more tenuous than before. And that cost Wisconsin a visit from one of the region's top juniors.
Junior offensive tackle Ross Pierschbacher (Cedar Falls, Iowa/Cedar Falls) has a playoff game Monday, so practice Saturday forced him to miss his visit to Wisconsin. Pierschbacher said he now plans to visit Wisconsin for the Ohio State game Nov. 17.
The following week he will be at Alabama for the Iron Bowl.
The 6-foot-4, 269-pound tackle competed at The Opening this past July.
