With three offers and interest from two BCS programs, Jason Tretter (Richfield, Ohio/Revere) is ready to make some movement on his recruitment.
Harvard, Kent State and Toledo have all offered the 6-foot-7, 310-pound offensive tackle, who missed his junior season with a knee injury. Of those three, Harvard and Kent State have made a big impression.
"I really like what Kent's done this year and how close they are to home," Tretter said. "I like Harvard for the academics and they are also a very good team for their division. I'd say Kent and Harvard are tied for first and Toledo behind them."
Tretter will officially visit Harvard on Dec. 7 and Kent State the following weekend.
Pittsburgh hosted Tretter on a visit earlier this season, and the Panthers are waiting on one of their top targets before moving on with Tretter.
"With Pitt they're waiting on Dorian Johnson's decision," he said.
West Virginia is in the same boat, waiting on two other tackles before possibly offering Tretter.
"They have two linemen offers out there right now and are waiting to see what those kids decide," Tretter said.
