Cincinnati Elder defensive end A.J. Burdine will make his first official visit of the recruiting process this weekend.
Burdine recently added an offer from Miami (Ohio), and he will take an official visit to see the RedHawks' program this weekend.
"I want to see all the schools first," Burdine said when asked if a commitment could come.
Boston College, Bowling Green, Kent State, Ohio and Toledo have also offered Burdine, who is in his first season playing defensive end. The Bobcats will host Burdine for an official visit the weekend of Dec. 7.
Indiana has not offered, but Burdine said the Hoosiers continue to show interest and could visit the weekend of Dec. 14.
"They are still evaluating," Burdine said.
As for Boston College, once Burdine's favorite, he said the Eagles are no longer under consideration now that coach Frank Spaziani has been let go, a move that came down Sunday.
"I don't know if I want to deal with a new staff and take a risk," he said. "I have no idea who the coach will be."
